Pat Brooke (pictured in the upper left corner) grew up in what was once the uncrowded and pristine area of Southwest Florida. There he spent much of his youth fishing the beaches and mangrove islands of Naples and Marco in pursuit of snook, redfish and tarpon. In 1970, Pat enrolled in college at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton where he studied Marine Biology. After college, Pat returned to Naples where he worked in the home building industry and fished extensively. In addition Pat enjoyed Scuba and is a certified rescue diver. He's also an avid hunter. In 1989 Pat followed the coastline north to Steinhatchee where he and his wife opened a fishing lodge and Pat began guiding full time. He has been featured in numerous articles on fishing, including Florida Fish and Game magazine. With over 40 years of expertise in saltwater fishing, he has become one of the area's top guides. |
